Why is verizon so slow in my area.
In fact a modernized LTE-A site is often faster. The bigger issue is that Verizon has like 60K cell towers and upgrading them all is a monumental task. And in order for the upgraded tower to perform well, the backhaul also needs to be modernized. My guess is that small towns are dead last on their list to upgrade.
