What you are experiencing is not having enough room for a coinpouch. Everything else can drop to the ground when full however coinpouches can't. You also don't get one every pickpocket so most likely you recieved an item that filled your inventory and now the game is seeing you don't have space to get the coinpouch. 1.24774.
