It runs good at highway speeds but when getting going it sometimes hesitates/stumbles when I give it just a little throttle. A quick check is to remove the cable from the hub and spin with your fingers while looking for movement on the speedo needle. If it moves, your problem is in the hub. I recieved the belt drive conversion kit from scootworks (it took about 2 1/2 months) for my Kawasaki 800 Classic. The complete installation took me and my wife about 6 hours. I will say that it is a great addition to this machine. I no longer am 'searching' for a 6th gear.Bike is a 2003 vulcan, 800 classic. Bike would stop running while cruising along about 70, and would not start again for a few minutes. Everytime it did this was about 7-10 miles after filling up with gas, could go another mile or two, and it would stop again, and again for a third time.
