Hyundai sonata cruise control not working
My sonata speedometer stopped working and is stuck at zero. I tried to swap the gauge cluster, but it made no difference. Surprisingly the ODB2 adapter app on my phone does display the speed correctly. Also the Cruise control works fine too. I read that the cruise control uses the same VSS sensor that the speedometer uses for speed display.The 2021 Hyundai Sonata cruise control system is better since it can detect when preceding vehicles slow down or stop. The Owner's Manual says "Do not use Cruise Control on rainy, icy, or snow covered roads". (Page 5-122). It seems your car decided conditions were not safe for CC, and did it's job by advising you.
