A quick explanation I used in another comment: Wellskating and Shatterskating are identical, but require a different third input; heavy attack with eager edge off of a ledge, then jump, then Well/shatterdive. Bubbleskating has different timing and doesn't need a jump, but is much more difficult and consumes your super.

If you don't have a mouse with side buttons or one that you can easily customize, i'd suggest to replace the "unused" text to something like "Capslock" or the "Alt" keys. Now when you're skating, all you need to do is swap to your Sword, do a Heavy Attack and immediately after press the chosen key (Ie: Capslock or Alt) to start zooming.

You can skate using acrobat's dodge. Misc. Not as fast as skate using shatterdive and consumes your meele charge but its possible to get a nice boost.
