Here are the symptoms: 1) Engine Overheating/Turn off A/C message flashing. 2) Engine temp in traffic with A/C on runs close to 250. 3) Engine temp without A/C on runs around 240. 4) Turning the heater on brings the temp down to 220-230.On our 14' Acadia at 44,000 miles last year, the AC started blowing hot air. Cabin filter had all ready been changed. Freon was at 1.2 lbs, they checked the rear evaporator and okay. Recharged the AC with dye and come back in 2 weeks for a check. After 2 weeks, no leaks and still nice cold air. I went back again after to weeks and said all was ...Hot air blowing out of the top vents in the back, but ice cold out of the front vents in the dash. After it ran for another 5-10 minutes or so it was cold in the back too. I am not sure, but maybe the top vents aren't insulated well from the roof and the heat from the sun just bakes the vents?

May 29, 2020 · GM did make this is very easy to do. Just find the fuse for it underneath the instrument panel on the passenger's side, remove it, wait about a minute or so, then put the fuse back in.
