Moved on to progressive machines such as the Grabber, 9000G and currently do all of my loading on a 9000H. IMO, the best value for the dollar and easiest to operate progressive MEC machine is the Grabber. Much faster than a 600 and darn near as fast as the 9000 series loaders. OldGoat and Iapackfn. I believe it is a MEC JR 600. I am trying to figure out if it is a Mark 5. I went to the mec site and it is NOT an 82-85 because it does not have the model embossed on the base. It could be a pre 82 or it could be a Mark 5.

I have found a MEC 600 JR to buy but it is the model before the new 600 mk V. Does anyone know the difference and do you have a recommendation of which to purchase. Thanks

the sizemaster truely sizes the metal using a collet sizer which is adjustable.....adjusted properly it will make hulls from any gun fit your chamber...the jr uses a ring type of sizer...the hull is forced into the ring swedging the metal down...it is not adjustable and due to the springieness of the metal base some shell/chamber combinations don't work out well....this is often in spades for ...

If there is, it would have to decap better and precrimp and crimp a whole lot better than a MEC 600, and not bridge shot and powder. A .410 might be a case where a single stage is the best way to load shells. I will say, that reloading .410's is one of the few examples of actually saving a large percentage of the new cost of shells.
