I've wanted a G3 style rifle ever since I bought my SA M1A back in 2005. It was a choice between the PTR91 and the M1A and I decided to get the "American classic". I located some original Cetme wood pieces, and refinished them. You may be surprised at how good yours looks under the bad finish.
