Brand new cd skipping
If it's brand new, return it as you should have a warranty. If it's used, I can share what I did to my CD deck when I bought it. It was skipping like hell, but in a strange way. Sometimes it jumped ahead, sometimes it looped three or four times. I suspected the laser assembly not moving correctly, and disassembled the deck.It's a double LP picture disc album. Brand new, never played. The other brand new LP that I was playing was KISS MTV Unplugged on yellow vinyl, and it was skipping also. I bought them at the same time, so I doubt that this is just some coincidence. I've had several other new LP's as well not skipping, but making a horrible deep scratching noise ...
