It's most likely a technician job with a $1.00 to $2.50/hr raise. Increases "career pathways" to create "advancement (lol)" opportunities for technicians. It sounds like they're making a traveling technician who tries to be the RxOM of a bad store temporarily and then send them on to the next dumpster fire.

I would like to accept the position that pays more since becoming an rxom (if the pay is 18.75-starting pay) I would lose out on money since I won't get the 8 hrs of overtime per paycheck. I already know the new store I'm going to has reservations about an asm becoming the rxom especially because I was only a dh for a year.

ESM is equal to RXOM if there is already an SM. Therefore above a RPH. Real talk though most RPHs have been there longer than the RXoM so it blurs the lines because the RXoM has probably worked under the RPH. But in the true heiarchy of things that Walgreens Corperate has stated the RXOM is technically above RPH. Same as SFL.
