Don't know if it got lose or broke somewhere inside. I've tried pushing down while someone else pulls handle but no luck. The cable is not broken, and I cannot see where the hood latch is through the grill. The cable seems to have come undone (or broken) at the latch. ... The release of tension on the latch may work?
