The ones that didn't, continued to complain about the floppy linkages. The cam sway three point on IH was much better than Deere's three point at the time yrs ago we used alot of heavy three point implements plows, chisels, subsoilers and the cam sway three point was leaps and bounds better than Deere's hitch.The main difference between a super M and 400 is styling, live pto, live hydraulics from the early SM, and most 400's had a fast hitch! Engine wise they are nearly the same one notable difference is the piston pin size and I believe the carb. Hydraulic pumps for the 400 are expensive if you have to replace them.
