The crosstrek is interesting. It's kind of small for me personally but they seem to be popular and the XV (turbo model) seems zippy. My criticism about the CVT vs Stick isn't about a problem I've had it's just that Subaru tells you the CVT fluid is lifetime fluid, which I don't personally think lasts forever.
