Apparently they stop serving ice cream hours … Mochinut has made a name for itself, from wherever it is they originate from, somewhere between Taiwan and Japan I'm sure, they definitely deserve the praise and attention of all fellow donut lovers. The texture of mochi with the simple but thoughtfully-classic flavors makes it difficult to choose but impossible not to pass up. A traditional cake doughnut is okay. The Mochinut has a completely different texture than these two types of doughnuts. It is soft and chewy. If I had to pick a doughnut type most similar to it, I would say it is like a Krispy Kreme doughnut in terms of how light and airy it is. The frosting holds most of the flavor in the Mochinut.
