Make sure all these screws, on both sides, are tight enough. If they're too loose, the display will lift out of its frame when you move the assembly, causing the laptop to feel wobbly when opening and closing it.

The legion 5/5i currently has no known hinge issues. They have a different hinge design than the 7i and the only issue with the 5/5i currently is a common complaint of keyboard issues, which lenovo seems to be dealing with from anecdotal evidence including my own experience.

Other very minor issues I have with it are the really bad "wave" RGB effect and the slightly "bulging" plastic of the keyboard deck.

Yeah man they’re being super sketchy when confronted about their hinge problem. I saw the 2070 variant was on sale for like $1400 so I asked them again about the hinges, and they said that all models bought straight from Lenovo will not have the hinge issue.
