The original listing said the car started and I spoke to the guy who started it and he also said it started. Now it won't start and it seems like the problem is no power to the ignition push ...icecoldmn. 1540 posts · Joined 2021. #5 · Jan 10, 2022. if it is still under warranty id let the dealer fix it, if not id get a decent meter and start troubleshooting. with the battery in the trunk id double check all the connections from the battery up to the front fuse box and starter along with trying a new ground to the body.

Hello, I have a 2004 Ford Expedition that has been pretty good to me. Minor fixes mostly. Here is my question. The dome lights, brake lights, gauges, and blinkers stopped working suddenly. I replaced the fuse associated with the problem, and all the above now work, but the car wont start. Remove fob or key completely and try again, if all the lights come on it may or may not crank, but all the electrical is on. If it cranks, it may do it after several seconds or not at all. A bad alternator will allow you to start and run, but eventually run the battery dead. The most obvious to rule out - the starter! If it cranks, but won't start, the starter is doing it's job!
