The University of Kansas has an outstanding Biochemistry research program within the Molecular Biosciences Department. The biochemistry group is a dynamic community of scholars and distinguished investigators engaged in research at the forefront of areas including enzymology, structural biology, protein chemistry and proteomics, and metabolic biology and computational biology.50 KU students received Undergraduate Research Awards for spring 2020.
