It runs like a dream and the graphic mods are fantastic. The only meaningful way in which the Switch version of BOTW was better than the Wii U version was when it came to the native resolution that it rendered in. But that's a non issue in emulation since you can run CEMU BOTW at 8K if your GPU can handle it.
I have a pretty good rig and I can only run at a stable 60fps in early access builds and at 4.0Ghz+ with drops in fps due to shader comp. Yuzu has ways to go for optimization, hopefully within a year or so TOTK will be more playable in mid-low end rigs.More specifically the "Remove Distant Fog" settings available for Cemu which Yuzu does not have at the moment. I have not tested this preset on Ryujinx but theoretically it should work similar to Yuzu. Cemu is by far the best way to play BOTW on PC due to better optimization and the ability to further tweak graphical settings via the Graphic Packs.
In desktop mode it works fine, but when I launch yuzu in the SteamOS mode it's 30fps locked. Even though 60fps is enabled. Any thoughts? Make sure you don't have a FPS limit in your Steam settings, i.e. press the "..." button and verify your Refresh Rate and Framerate Cap in the Steam UI. Create a CTRL+U button to unlock framerate.

The game … Ur specs cant do 60 fps on yuzu. the 60fps mod is broken. It actually causes the game to run at half speed. As suggested, if you want to play it at 60fps you'll have to use cemu. I think you can easily get 60fps using cemu (wii u) instead of yuzu.. you can always give it a try. When games get patched to run at that framerate or natively run at it on switch. Games like Project Diva Megamix and Cadence of Hyrule are some native 60fps games that will run at that on yuzu. Moreover, minimal config, no mods like FPS++ needed (although CEMU has great graphic packs). So for a vanilla experience and keeping everything on Yuzu its a great option. Not to mention that the upcoming TOTK will hopefully run great too.

Based on my test sweeps, a 3rd gen i7 with the gtx 1060, it will run pretty smoothly with dips in the 40 fps in some area, whilst in my main rig , i9 10th gen with the rtx 4070ti, the game ran basically locked 60fps in 4k preset. Just a quick update. Shortly after making it public and people started trying it some systems ended up having a problem with it. #botw_discussion later discovered an extra line from an original internal release was needed to be added for some systems to patches.txt for each game version.
damn i might settle for 4k 30fps on yuzu after all. can't for the love of me keep stable 60fps, tried all combinations with mods and resolutions and bah, keeps dropping to 40 and 58, 45 and 60 etc with slowdowns. ryujinx for me even after all the updates can't for the love of god keep 30fps stable... keeps going from 26~30fps at all times. people on reddit with worse rigs than mine managing to ...

You need much power from the CPU with Yuzu and less from the GPU. The 60fps mod for botw has the same cutscene and slowdown issues and that's been around for a while, so I wouldn't count on it getting fixed any time soon. This speed issues in shrines and cutscenes have been fixed a while ago.
