Ok, guys i think i have the same issue as well. Mine's a 05. when its cold its usually no whine, but after a long drive after the car is really hot i get this Anoyying scary whine sound coming from the engine. and it whines when I turn the steering wheel as well. I see that most of you just replaces the ps pump.Starting a few weeks, it started making the same whining noise when turning, going around roundabouts and also when first accelerating from a stop (Especially when the car is cold). The sound is loudest around the front passenger area. Someone recorded a video with the same exact sound that I'm hearing. They never posted about whether they found what was wrong or not.
