I suspect that IT support for their community forums is where Microchip 'parks' PHBs with too much seniority to sack, to minimize their impact on the core of the business. Its the only possible explanation for the entrenched, willfully ignorant incompetence displayed by that department over more than the last decade!

The result is: The header file can't read the include path directories!! I suggest you can use MCU build in timer 0 - 8bit mode to output a 100KHz interrupt (10us interrupt period) and toggle a IO. then you can measure with you own counter. When system clock = 48MHz. you should set the clock source of timer 0 = FOSC/4 = 12MHz. Period per each timer increment = 0.083333us.
