I took the NCLEX on Friday. My first attempt. I was super nervous. The test shut off at 85, which only added to my nerves, but I passed! If anyone is curious, I’d be happy to try and help in anyway I can and share any tips I might have. I did not study the night before aside just reviewing some lab values. You will never feel ready and I am a firm believer that the biggest component to NCLEX success is feeling relaxed the day of the exam. I am scheduled to take the NCLEX Monday, July 13th, but now that it is less than a week away I am really second-guessing myself. I have been doing UWorld for about 5-6 weeks. The first few weeks were light on questions, as I was also using my ATI Comprehensive Review Book and listening to the Mark Klimek lectures.Here in Ontario, Canada, we can work with a temporary license for a maximum of 6 months before being required to take the NCLEX. Also, if I take the NCLEX and fail it whilst employed with a temporary license, the employment is terminated. In addition, if I take the NCLEX on Friday and fail it, I cannot apply for a temporary license.
