Oh and for those who didn't noticed by now: You can make mimics asleep and make them open their mouth without fighting them and get the loot with that silver talisman which prevents invaders from using flasks. In DS3 it's called something else but in DS2 it was the Lloyd's talisman. Lloyd talisman/ first merchant? So I know that the first undead merchant is the only guy to sell lloyd talismans and I know theyre used for pvp to stop healing or in game etc. etc. But I want the uchigatana in the beginning and I was wondering if I'll need lloyd talismans later on cuz once I kill him I know you can't get em anymore?The only liable way to prevent a player from healing in dark souls was to use Lloyd's Talismans. But, now it only stops/interrupts them in an area that it was thrown. Why did they make it incredibly useless in this game? It seems like every other PvP fight I go into (Summoned, not invading.) they like to chuck Sunny D 24/7.Don't know about convergence, but Cinders is definitely worth playing at least once. This is very convenient when farming for the Symbol of Avarice, since they do not respawn. If you want to get a Symbol of Avarice it is recommended to punch the Mimic, then throw a Lloyd's Talisman at the mimic to stun it. I play dual Caestus, I think it is extremely hard to stop people chuggging, does not seems that Lloyds talisman works as well, I see people chugging and healing even after being hit by the talisman ... ….
