Can't flip septum piercing up
Jan 2, 2022 · Healing Times & After Care. The septum piercing itself takes ages to heal, a whole 6 to 8 months to fully heal, though you can change out the ring at the 6 to 8 week mark. Pain and swelling is basically gone after 3 weeks. During this healing time, but especially at the start of it, you’ll need to clean your nose often. I've had it for about 6-7moths now maybe. Sometimes it hurts when I move it but usually I just clean it or rinse with water and it'll go away. But even then it still hurts just a bit when I move it. When I push my nose up that hurts a bit too. Nothing serious. Just wanted to know if that was normal. This thread is archived.I thought a potential solution might be to flip it up to hide it now (directly after getting it done) and then follow all of the same aftercare instructions, only flipping it down when it's appropriately healed. She doesn't mind that idea and obviously prefers it to just having to take the piercing out, but I wanted to double check here with ...
