Just my $.02. I have both the 365x barrel and slide as well as the 365xL barrel and slide. My grip mods are all 365xl. I experienced less felt recoil when my unit is configured as the 365x vs the xL. Likely due to less material for travel. That said. I like keeping it as the X. I held a P365X the other day and it is just about perfect. But all you have to do is swap the grip module and mags and you can configure any of them however you want. The X and the XL have the exact same grip module and use identical magazines. The only difference is slide/barrel length.
