Driving on the 401 this morning and all of a sudden the malfunction indicator lamp came on and after 2 minutes my rpm's were really high. Took it to Honda and it came back as an Input shaft speed sensor needs replaced. Approx $295+tax. The Honda Accord check engine light can indicate a number of problems. I have a 2014 Honda Accord EXL 4cyl. Over the last month at random times, all of the dash warning lights will turn on (ABS, FCW, Traction Control, Power Steering, Tire pressure monitor, etc). The car runs and drives perfectly with no issues. I have replaced the battery making sure its fully charged and the battery connections are clean and tight.Basically when starting the car, hold in the trip meter reset button for about 10 seconds or so. Dealer can reset it too when you go for service. It's nothing sophisticated, it's just based on time and mileage. I just got gas yesterday, so my bet is/was a loose gas cap, but I tightened that, still the light flashes.TPM light, Check Engine light, Power Steering, and Traction Control lights came on at the same time.
