Tolstoyans
The Tolstoyan movement is a social movement based on the philosophical and religious views of Russian novelist Leo Tolstoy (1828–1910). Tolstoy's views were formed by rigorous study of the ministry of Jesus, particularly the Sermon on the Mount .Koryaks. Koryaks ( Russian: коряки) are an Indigenous people of the Russian Far East, who live immediately north of the Kamchatka Peninsula in Kamchatka Krai and inhabit the coastlands of the Bering Sea. Yes, this. Doukhobors are probably the closest to a Tolstoyan community. There are also a couple groups of Brethren (mostly mennonites) up in the Minnesota area and in Indiana that get pretty close. I've met several Friends throughout the years that also really live many of Tolstoy's values.
