If you are going to run a 460 to 7 / 8K with iron cj heads you had better have good H beam rods, good forged pistons and four bolt mains or at a minimum a girdle. After you have the work done and the heads back on the motor use the pushrod length checker to make sure you get the right size pushrods to make the valve train geometry correct for your motor.
