Intake heater light
The only way I can get it to start is by planting a 100W light bulb on the air intake heater housing for 1-2 hours. Obviously , the electric air intake heater is not working (despite the "glow plug" light on the dash lighting up for 10 seconds, which it does). The housing does NOT heat up. I've replaced the ($155! from a JD dealer) control module.76 posts · Joined 2011. #1 · Jul 30, 2011. I was driving today and the wait to start/glow plug light started flashing along with chimes. Now it's on permanently. Anyone know why that is. All other gauges read ok. No check engine light and truck starts and shuts down as normal. Any help would be appreciated.
