The Emergency Grant application will open September 25, 2023. The Emergency Grant Application is for students who are experiencing an unforeseen, unexpected expense or hardship to apply for institutional emergency aid funds from KU. Emergency financial aid funding is limited and awarded until funds are depleted.Government grants are a form of financial assistance that doesn’t result in debt. As long as the grant recipient meets the terms set forth in any grant agreements, the provided funds are given without the need for repayment.
