It can not. Amiibo are standard tags but encrypted and iOS can’t read them at all. Not a limitation of OP’s app but of iOS’ capabilities. Most standard android phones can read and write them using specific apps (and the appropriate de/encryption keys) because they have complete access to the NFC hardware drivers iirc.You use your android phone to write the tags and then they work as legit amiibo. Sadly it doesn't work. Have the same writer (ACR122U). Written tags aren't recognized by the switch at all and other software (GoToTags at least) is not able to read or erase NFC tags after i have written on them with your software. They are broken. GoToTags is for some reason not able to write .bin files.
